Production Assembler

 About the role

  • Pre-kitting parts and materials for Production and Assembly

  • Assemble components and drills

  • Operate saws cutting steel and materials

  • Operate linisher, hydraulic press and drill press

  • Receiving inwards goods and packaging outwards goods

  • Carry out Quality Checks on components

  • Assist with Lean Manufacturing processes

  • Operate a forklift

  • General hand for workshops, tidy and some maintenance

  • Stocktaking and rolling stock with Kanban Inventory

 

Skills and experience

  • Experience with hand and power tools

  • Experience in engineering or a willingness to learn the industry

  • Interest in or experience with machinery

  • Experience or interest in manufacturing and LEAN practices

  • Experience in operating a forklift
